Bird alert - very special - once in a lifetime opportunity!!
I saw on the news in Taupo that a very rare black billed gull native to New Zealand was nesting in Napier in Hawkes bay................. and I only went and saw them - I'm becoming a birder and I don't know how to stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You see!!! Birding is fun, slightly addictive and can be done anywhere in the World!! ;))
Fab photos. What a treat to see rarities!
My guess... Red-billed gull; Black-backed gull and maybe Silver gull. As well as the marvellous Black-billed gull.
