A day out in Tigre

Before I begin my story I would like to thank Mandy from the bottom of my heart for sorting out untold numbers of technical issues that I have had trying to do this blog - so bless you my dear friend, you are a very patient angel (all random photos of birds are for her from now on)

Today we went out of town to Tigre (one hour train ride from BA at a cost of £1 return!!) It is a delta of many rivers and tributaries forming lots of little island which are inhabited by lots of rich (and possibly retired) people and , of course, the very poor, This is where I stupidly had salad with my fish and promptly got food poisoning!!
